My version of the filter returned the following:
Wondering how followers of this thread would rate them for Mon, Jan 9 buy.
based on MACD, I'd lean toward XGTI and BCEI

I agree with your preferences .... I've looked at these filters from time to time but never found a reliable method to pick the right stock from the various choices ...

I've taken this group and applied every indicator I could think of and these 2 come out on top. But, to muddy the water, BCEI initiated Chap 11 on Jan 4, and XGTI is in a major acquistion deal.

Happy New Year All,
I've never been more fascinated in a strategy than this one. I've begun my own back-testing model on this strategy in excel and will post any results I find that can improve which stocks to choose from the filter results. If anyone wants to collaborate with me, feel free to reach out

Steve, I am using the filter on page 1 posted by Kevin.
Devin, Any help from any source is appreciated.
I am working on a filter to illustrate the progress of the weekly picks, but I am not sure if it will work using weekly data on a daily chart. Will post tomorrow, after the market opens.
Going to get up early(that's hard to do for an old geezer), and see if I can get any guidance from the pre-market action.

Market orders at open worked this week.
BTO BCEI @ 1.76 stop at 15 min EMA(13) STC BCEI @ 2.13 (1225cst)
BTO XGTI @ 1.96 out at 4.2% (slippage)

AKAO up 14% in pre market. Stopped out at 5% in opening minutes, 4 winners and 2 losers this week.
